Team members

A family that teaches together

Founder & Lead Instructor

Dr. Bipasha Bose

An engineer by profession with a deep passion for music, Dr. Bose graduated in 1995 - the youngest student at the time - from Chhayanaut Sangeet Vidyatan, one of Bangladesh's most prestigious music schools. After relocating to Canada she remained active in music, organizing, conducting, and training for cultural programs across the community. In 2016 she founded the musical group SHOPNO to promote Bengali music among children, hosting numerous events that give both children and adults a platform to perform.

Guitar Instructor

Mrinmoy Kanungo

Also an engineer by profession, Mr. Kanungo is a dedicated guitarist with a passion for both Bengali/South Asian and Western music. He actively hosts and organizes musical events in the community, and brings a philosophy of continuous growth to his teaching - always striving to improve and evolve as a musician.

Student Teacher - Voice & Piano

Trisha

A dedicated student and enthusiastic music lover, Trisha completed her RCM Level 6 Voice and Theory examination in 2026 with First Class Honours with Distinction. Her talent in Western voice and piano is matched by her generosity - she shares her knowledge and passion by assisting as a student teacher.

Student Teacher - Junior Mentor

Trina

Our youngest team member is a budding musician with a diverse skill set across singing, piano, drums and guitar. She completed her RCM Level 5 Voice examination in 2026 with First Class Honours with Distinction. Trina brings positive encouragement to our littlest learners, serving as a helping hand and fostering a warm, supportive environment.
